News just in at Magical Story Jars HQ is that we’ve only gone and won an award for the second year running in the Independent Toy Awards 2022.

The prestigious awards scheme sees the likes of household names such as Connetix, John Adams and Duplo compete for the coveted accolade so we’re ecstatic that our fairy tale themed story writing set has been featured amongst such big brands. We’re also super proud that the nation’s independent toy retailers have recognised the uniqueness of our story jars and chosen us to win a coveted silver award in the best children’s gifts category.

Have you ever wanted to get inside the mind of an author in the making? Well look no further as we have published a Q&A with 12 year old Arista from Norther Ireland. Arista wrote an award winning story using the story cards from our adventure themed Magical Story Jar.

Enlighten Me

‘Enlighten Me’ was written and illustrated by twelve-year-old Arista Kamila from Coleraine, Northern Ireland. Story cards from the Adventure themed Magical Story Jars were used as a framework for the story. Arista’s beautifully written story won second place in the 11-13 year age group during the ‘Super Story Writing Competition’ held in association With What’s Your Story Chorley? festival. We’re confident you will enjoy the story.
